What digital signage installation costs

Installation labour and cabling typically run £150 to £600 per screen. A single screen supplied and installed lands at £500 to £4,000 depending on size and complexity, and multi-screen rollouts bring the per-screen figure down sharply because design, network setup and CMS configuration are shared across the estate.

Installation typeTypical costTypical timescale
Installation labour only (per screen)£150 to £6002 to 4 hours
Single screen, supplied and installed£500 to £4,000Half a day
Small multi-screen site (1 to 4 screens)£2,000 to £6,0001 to 2 days
Video wall (tiled LCD)£6,000 to £35,0002 to 5 days
Video wall (seamless dvLED)£20,000 to £100,000+1 to 2 weeks
Outdoor screen (IP-rated, high-bright)£4,000 to £15,0001 to 2 days
Multi-site rollout (20 to 100 screens)Fixed project quote4 to 8 weeks, in waves

Figures are typical UK ranges including mounting and cabling; CMS subscriptions run £15 to £40 per screen per month on top. A site survey turns these into a fixed price with no hidden extras.

How we install digital signage

1

Site survey

We check wall construction, power, network routes, sight lines and daylight glare, free and without obligation.

2

Fixed-price design

Screen positions, hardware list and cable routes in a fixed quote. No scope creep, no surprises on the day.

3

Pre-staging

Players imaged, screens bench-tested and CMS profiles loaded in our warehouse before anyone arrives on site.

4

Installation

Mounting, tidy cabling and connection by our own engineers, scheduled around your opening hours.

5

Commissioning & training

CMS configured, content loaded, screens calibrated and your team trained to run it day to day.

What we install

Commercial-grade hardware only, from Samsung, LG, Philips, Sharp/NEC and Sony, rated for 16/7 or 24/7 duty. Consumer TVs fail early in commercial use, so we do not fit them.

Indoor advertising & menu screens

Portrait and landscape commercial displays for retail, hospitality and QSR, with dayparted content scheduling.

Office & internal comms screens

Reception welcome screens, KPI dashboards, meeting-room availability and staff communications networks.

Video walls

Tiled LCD and seamless dvLED for receptions, lobbies, control rooms and flagship retail.

Outdoor & window-facing screens

IP-rated enclosures and 2,500 to 5,000 nit high-brightness panels that stay readable in direct sun.

Interactive kiosks & wayfinding

Touch totems and directory screens for hospitals, campuses, shopping centres and large offices.

Media players & CMS

BrightSign, System-on-Chip and PC players, enrolled into MagicInfo, ScreenCloud, Yodeck or your chosen platform.

Digital Signage Installation FAQs

Q.How much does digital signage installation cost?

Installation labour and cabling typically run £150 to £600 per screen, depending on wall type, cable routes and access. A single screen supplied and installed lands at £500 to £4,000 including the commercial display, mounting and a media player or System-on-Chip licence. Multi-screen rollouts bring the per-screen cost down sharply. See the full cost breakdown.

Q.How long does a digital signage installation take?

A single site with one to four screens is typically completed in one to two days, including mounting, cabling, player configuration and CMS onboarding. A multi-site rollout of 20 to 100 screens is usually staged over 4 to 8 weeks, with sites grouped by region and installed in waves. We pre-stage hardware in our warehouse so on-site time is kept to a minimum.

Q.Can you install screens we've already bought?

Yes. We install customer-supplied displays as well as hardware we supply, though we'll flag it if a consumer TV has been bought for a commercial duty cycle, because burn-in and voided warranties follow. Commercial display vs TV, explained.

Q.Do you install outdoor digital signage?

Yes. Outdoor installations use IP-rated enclosures, sun-readable 2,500 to 5,000 nit panels and structural mounting, which is why they run £4,000 to £15,000 per screen rather than indoor money. Planning consent is worth checking early for street-facing screens. Outdoor signage requirements.

Q.Do you install video walls?

Yes, both tiled LCD (£6,000 to £35,000) and seamless dvLED (£20,000 to £100,000+). Video walls add structural mounting, a video wall processor and commissioning over a standard screen install, which is where a site survey earns its keep. Video wall costs in detail.

Q.Is CMS setup and training included?

Yes. Commissioning covers CMS configuration (MagicInfo, ScreenCloud, Yodeck, BrightSign and others), content loading, player enrolment and staff training, so your team can schedule and update content from day one. Expect £15 to £40 per screen per month for the CMS subscription itself.
