What hardware is certified for Zoom Rooms?

Zoom Rooms certified hardware in 2026 comes from Logitech, Poly (HP), Yealink, Neat and DTEN, in two forms: Zoom Rooms Appliances, all-in-one Android bars and boards that run the Zoom Rooms app natively, and Zoom Rooms on Windows or Mac, a small PC paired with certified cameras, microphones, speakers and a touch controller. Only devices on Zoom's certified list get tested firmware, Zoom support and full Zoom Device Management, which is why an "authorised Zoom Rooms installer" should quote nothing else.
Certified Zoom Rooms hardware by room size
| Room | People | Zoom Rooms Appliances (Android) | Windows or Mac route | Controller | Installed cost (UK) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Huddle | 2 to 5 | Logitech Rally Bar Huddle, Rally Bar Mini; Poly Studio X30, X32; Yealink MeetingBar A10, A20; Neat Bar, Neat Frame; DTEN D7X 55" | Rarely needed | Logitech Tap IP, Neat Pad, Yealink CTP18, Poly TC10 | £3,000 to £8,000 |
| Meeting room | 6 to 12 | Logitech Rally Bar; Poly Studio X50, X52, X70; Yealink MeetingBar A30, A40; Neat Bar Pro, Neat Board 50; DTEN D7X 75" | Mini PC with Logitech Rally or Poly Studio E70 | Tap IP, TC10, CTP18, Neat Pad, DTEN Mate | £8,000 to £20,000 |
| Boardroom | 12 to 20+ | Neat Bar Pro with Neat Center; Yealink MeetingBoard 86 | Windows Zoom Room with Logitech Rally Plus or Rally Camera, Poly Studio E70, Yealink UVC86; Shure MXA920, Sennheiser TCC2 or Yealink VCM ceiling microphones with DSP | Tap IP or Neat Pad plus a scheduling panel | £25,000 to £60,000+ |
Pick by room size first. The bars certified for a 4 metre huddle room (Rally Bar Mini, Studio X30, Neat Bar) will not pick up or frame a 7 metre table, however the brand is marketed.
From the floor. Most of the certified bars are dual-certified for Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms, and the firmware switch between the two takes about twenty minutes. That matters when a client is not sure which platform will win internally: buy the dual-certified bar and the controller, and the room survives the decision either way. The one thing that does not switch is the licence, so settle that before go-live. (David Corker, Technical Sales Director)
Appliances versus Zoom Rooms on Windows
Zoom Rooms Appliances are sealed Android devices with camera, microphones, speakers and compute in one box. They are simpler to manage (one device, one update ring in Zoom Device Management), cheaper to buy and cover rooms up to about 12 people. Zoom Rooms on Windows or Mac runs the Zoom Rooms application on a PC and lets you choose any certified camera, microphone and DSP, which is what boardrooms with ceiling microphone arrays and multiple cameras need. Most UK estates run appliances in huddle and meeting rooms and a Windows room in the boardroom.
Certified controllers and scheduling panels
Every Zoom Room needs a certified controller: Logitech Tap and Tap IP, Neat Pad, Yealink CTP18 and RoomPanel, Poly TC8 and TC10, DTEN Mate, or an iPad running the Zoom Rooms Controller app. The same panels double as scheduling displays outside the door, showing the room's calendar and allowing ad-hoc booking.
Licensing and management
Each room needs its own Zoom Rooms licence at roughly £45 per room per month on an annual plan, separate from user licences; there is no free tier. Zoom Device Management enrols every certified device for monitoring, firmware and configuration from the Zoom admin portal. Design, installation and the licence are covered on our Zoom Rooms page; if you are still choosing between platforms, start with the video conferencing systems comparison.
The authoritative list is Zoom's own certified hardware page in the Zoom Marketplace; manufacturers add and retire models every quarter, so check it before ordering.
Quick reference: appliances (Logitech Rally Bar family, Poly Studio X, Yealink MeetingBar, Neat Bar and Board, DTEN) plus a certified controller for huddle and meeting rooms; Windows Zoom Room with PTZ cameras and ceiling microphones for boardrooms; about £45 per room per month licence; check Zoom's certified list before ordering.
