UK delivery partner for integrators
How does white-label AV installation work in the UK?

White-label AV installation lets an overseas AV integrator win and own a UK project while a local UK partner physically delivers it under the overseas integrator's brand. The UK partner installs, commissions and hands over the system, and the end client deals with the original integrator throughout, not the subcontractor behind the scenes.
From the floor. When we deliver for an overseas integrator, my team works to their method statements and turns up to site badged as them, so we are indistinguishable from their own engineers. What makes it work is boring discipline: one named UK contact, their documentation standards, and a firm rule that we never discuss commercials with their client. Get those three right and the client never needs to know two companies were involved.
Derek Pyle, Operations Director
In practice the model runs in two stages. First, alignment: the two companies agree technical standards, branding, reporting format and a single point of contact, and put an NDA and a non-compete in place so the UK partner cannot approach the client directly. Second, delivery: the UK partner runs the installation, engineering and site coordination to the integrator's specification, reporting back against their standards. A capable UK delivery partner operates as an extension of the overseas team rather than a separate supplier the client ever sees.
The detail that separates a safe partner from a risky one is compliance. A UK installation partner should carry full public liability and professional indemnity cover, hold ISO 27001, 9001 and 14001, and issue project-specific RAMS and method statements for every site, with CSCS-carded engineers. White-label delivery can be scoped as labour-only installation where the integrator manages the project, or as full UK project management where the partner owns delivery from site survey to client sign-off.
Quick reference: overseas integrator keeps the client and the brand; UK partner installs and commissions under that brand; secured by NDA and non-compete; scoped as labour-only or full UK project management.
