StriveAV is now a preferred supplier, designer and integrator of AV equipment for universities and colleges across Wales, London and the South of England having been awarded a place on the HEPCW, LUPC and SUPC framework.

(HEPCW is the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium for Wales, LUPC is the London University Purchasing Organisation and SUPC is the Southern Universities Consortium – the aim of these consortiums is to achieve best value through collaborative procurement.)

StriveAV was successful in all three lots of the above framework for ‘Audio Visual Equipment and Services Tender’ and will now spec, design, source, supply and integrate a wide range of AV equipment for the partaking universities and colleges. The technology will include the likes of presentation systems, video walls, visitor management systems and digital signage, for the benefit of students, academic staff and visitors.

The framework agreement will be in place until the end of November 2018 and it is estimated that across all three lots between £90m and £100m will be spent by the higher education establishments involved. The universities and colleges in question will have freedom of choice between StriveAV and other companies that have been successfully appointed to the panel.

StriveAV’s Managing Director, Toni Barnett, said: “Winning thisUniversity Framework is truly excellent news that comes within days of announcing our success on a similar NHS framework, giving us a flying start to 2015. This is another key contract win for us that required heavy investment, focus, hard work and dedication. Being awarded a place on all three lots of the framework will take the business to new levels this year and we will be creating 20 new roles (over the next two years) in line with our strategic expansion.

We are incredibly excited to provide the higher education establishments involved with the latest AV solutions to suit their specific needs and make a real difference to such a vast number of students’ learning and academic experience.”
