StriveAV is pleased to announce that it has been awarded ISO 27001 accreditation for the third year in a row, having held the accolade since 2018. The award comes at a time when the information security standard is more important than ever, particularly when it comes to enterprise AV which is dealing with rapid changes to working practices due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ISO 27001 is the only auditable international standard that defines the requirements of an information security management system (ISMS) and, by achieving accreditation, StriveAV has once again shown its commitment to demonstrating the highest standards when it comes to managing information risks. As certification involves undertaking regular reviews and internal audits of the ISMS to ensure its continual improvement, customers can be confident that these best practices will be maintained now and in the future.

Alongside ISO 27001, StriveAV has also held ISO 9001 and 14001 since 2015. Businesses that achieve ISO 9001 accreditation, the international standard for a quality management system, demonstrate a commitment to documenting and managing process carefully; ISO 14001, meanwhile, is a rigorous environmental management system standard, showing our commitment to environmental awareness and efficiency.

Recognition among the technology community of these standards is extremely high, and, particularly in these challenging times, they are seen as indicators that a business has weathered the storm and can be relied on to manage contracts long term, transact securely and survive in a world of growing uncertainty.

Spiros Andreou, information security officer at StriveAV, said: “ISO accreditation is hugely important to StriveAV, allowing us to demonstrate our commitment to best practice and continuous improvement across multiple areas of the business, especially in the hugely important area of information security. Despite there being a lot of uncertainty out there at the minute, we hope this will offer assurance to our stakeholders that data security remains of utmost importance to us.”
