We are pleased to have been highly commended in two categories at The AV Awards 2015 on Friday night in London.

We came incredibly close to winning the sought after Reseller / Integrator of the Year category for a third year running, but received the commendation instead of the trophy on this occasion. We were also recognised in the Education Project category for our work on the £2.5m Leicester BSF project.

It was emotional, poignant night for the team at StriveAV, taking place less than a week after the passing of our owner and founder, Andy Duckworth. 30 of our team members attended the event with the gentlemen wearing blue bow ties and ladies a blue ribbon, in homage to Andy.

AV Magazine’s editor, Clive Couldwell, delivered a touching tribute to Andy, inspiring a standing ovation from the thousand-strong audience of key figures from across the AV industry.

StriveAV’s managing director, Toni Barnett, said: “Winning the Reseller award for a third year running would have been a remarkable achievement, though the commendation and closeness of the decision still highlights us as industry leaders. We will return next year and aim to reclaim the trophy in Andy’s honour.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of our industry peers who passed on their condolences to us over the last week. We’d like to extend special thanks to Clive, Adam and the team at AV Magazine for their compassion and delivering a touching tribute.”

IMG_5252Toni, along with Andy’s eldest son Jack, took to the stage as category sponsors to present the Manufacturer of the Year award to Clevertouch.
