StriveAV has been named as a preferred supplier to the NHS, having been awarded a place on its Shared Business Services (SBS) framework.
After a robust tendering process, StriveAV is now in position to supply and integrate audio visual equipment to a number of NHS organisations across England.
The ‘television and audio visual’ tranche of the framework will be a large growth rate for StriveAV in a parallel market.
StriveAV will spec, source, supply and integrate a wide range of audio visual equipment for hospitals, clinics, walk-in centers and doctors’ surgeries. The technology will include visitor management systems, digital signage, projectors and video walls for the benefit of patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
The NHS SBS framework was first established in 2005 as a shared services business model that enables participating NHS authorities to achieve huge economies of scale through group purchasing and joint procurement. Processing over £155 billion payments each year, the venture has saved the NHS £224 million in efficiencies since its inception.
StriveAV’s Managing Director, Toni Barnett, said: “This is a key contract win for StriveAV and is in line with our strategic growth plans for 2015 onwards. The tender process required strong focus, hard work and dedication by all involved. We were up against some of the largest firms in the UK, but have proven our worth by demonstrating proven best value and excellent levels of customer care.
We are excited to provide the NHS organisations with value for money, high quality AV technologies that will help improve communication and patients’ experiences, whilst streamlining performance for the healthcare professionals and achieving efficiency savings for the NHS.”
