Queen Elizabeth II Centre – Mobile Recording Rack

Custom mobile recording rack delivers 8 channels of simultaneous full HD recording for London's premier conference and exhibition centre

CorporateRecording Systems

AV Refresh

The Queen Elizabeth II Centre is the largest dedicated conference, events and exhibition space in central London. Located in Westminster, it hosts more than 400 high-profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions, awards ceremonies and corporate events each year.

The centre recognised a need for an updated mobile recording rack. The current system was becoming less reliable as it aged, so Bruno Siu, Head of Data & Video, QEII Live at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, set about building a new system from the ground up in collaboration with Strive AV.

Queen Elizabeth II Centre Mobile Recording Rack

Project Details

The new mobile recording rack system enables the QEII Centre to record up to 8 channels of simultaneous full HD video, providing comprehensive coverage for conferences, events and exhibitions. The system is designed to be mobile and flexible, allowing it to be deployed quickly across different spaces within the centre as required.

The rack incorporates professional-grade recording equipment including AJA Ki Pro Ultra Plus recorders, ensuring broadcast-quality output for all recorded content. This solution provides the centre with reliable, high-quality recording capabilities that can be easily transported and set up for any event.
