Telford’s Phoenix Academy, a co-educational community based school. The school hadrecently moved into new premises and is set up to offer an exciting range of learning and teaching innovations, including its intuitive AV System.
Phoenix Academy’s vision was to enable teachers to move simply and quickly between classrooms. This helps to minimise downtime and improve the efficiency of the school day. We worked with Phoenix Academy and Telford and Wrekin Council to conceive and install a cutting edge AV system throughout the school. This cutting edge AV system utilises the very latest technology and bespoke innovations to create simple interactivity for teachers.
Project Brief
We worked closely with our manufacturing partner Sahara to create a bespoke screen with inbuilt wireless connectivity, meaning that the solution was completely unique.
Project Benefits
The tablets mean that the teachers can be more active in the classroom and connect rapidly to the screen to get the lesson started. Due to the wireless connectivity, teachers are now moving between classrooms, enabling pupils to stay in place, which is a more efficient use of school time and meets the requirements of the brief exactly.
“We worked closely with partners including StriveAV and Telford and Wrekin Council to design something completely unique and I’m delighted with the results both for the teachers and the way this will improve learning experiences for pupils at the school.”
